ToolTally AI helps you work out which AI tools are worth paying for. We track what tools cost, flag every price and free-tier change, compare alternatives and check popular claims about AI against the evidence.
Our owl, Scout, keeps the tally.
How the data is collected
- Prices: read daily from each tool's official pricing page. A change is published only after it appears on two checks in a row.
- Tool profiles: written from each tool's official site and reviewed when things change.
- Tested: evidence checks of published sources, with every source listed. Hands-on tests are labelled separately.
- Tips: prompting guidance distilled from each tool's official documentation and re-checked weekly.

For site owners
Our crawler identifies itself in its user agent, reads each pricing page at most once a day and follows robots.txt. To be excluded, block it in robots.txt or email hello@tooltallyai.com.
