What the evidence shows

AI-assisted LinkedIn ghostwriting is real but crowded and cheap at the volume end. Rest of World reported in May 2026 that Filipino virtual assistants advertised at $4 to $7 an hour use ChatGPT and Gemini to write posts and comments for executives in the US, Canada, Australia and Europe, and that LinkedIn announced anti-engagement-bait measures in March 2026. An Originality.ai study reported by eWeek estimated about 54% of longer English-language LinkedIn posts were likely AI-generated, and LinkedIn offers its own AI writing help through Premium.

Realistic earnings: The sources show heavy competition from low-cost offshore assistants using the same AI tools, and executives can use LinkedIn's built-in AI themselves. They do not support typical earnings of thousands a month for beginners.

Limitations

Earnings ranges are typical outcomes for a beginner, drawn from the sources; some people do far better or worse. Platform rules change often, so check the latest policy before you start.
