What the evidence shows

The NFT market has shrunk sharply and most collections are worth nothing. A 2023 study of 73,257 collections found 95% had a market cap of zero, and four in five NFTs went unsold. NFT sales fell to $1.5 billion in Q1 2025, down 61% from $4.1 billion a year earlier. The FCA warns NFTs and cryptoassets have no consumer protection or FSCS cover.

Realistic earnings: Making the images is easy; finding buyers is the problem. The sources show most collections have no market value.

Limitations

Earnings ranges are typical outcomes for a beginner, drawn from the sources; some people do far better or worse. Platform rules change often, so check the latest policy before you start.
