The claim

Use AI to write Vinted and eBay listings and flip items for a profit.

What the evidence shows

AI can save time when listing, but it is no longer an edge, because eBay builds it into its app: its magical listing tool fills in item details from a photo in the UK app, and eBay says early UK tests cut listing steps by 50%. Profit still depends on buying stock cheaply and selling it on, which AI does not do for you. Since January 2024, platforms report sellers with 30 or more items or over €2,000 in sales to HMRC, and anyone buying to resell is trading and must declare income over the £1,000 trading allowance.

Realistic earnings: The sources show AI shortens listing time but give no data on reseller profits. Selling your own unwanted items is not taxed, but flipping bought stock is trading and may need declaring.

Limitations

Earnings ranges are typical outcomes for a beginner, drawn from the sources; some people do far better or worse. Platform rules change often, so check the latest policy before you start.
